Sleepwalker

Sleepwalker - m/m thrillerNEW - Daniel Weber ("Web" to his friends) was a promising young biology student on the fast track to a prestigious grad program. That was a year and a half ago. Now he's working a dead-end security job and living in his cousin's two-flat. Thanks to the mysterious George, he's got gaps in his memory too big for his pocket notebook to fill.

Jesse Ray Jones is the taxidermist who's trying to help the Faris Natural Sciences Center secure the MAHPS Grant, a funding that would keep the foundering organization afloat for a few more years. He looks like a skatepunk and talks like a science major, which pushes Web's every last hot-button.

It's lust at first sight…but hooking up proves difficult when a supervisor at the Center is found bludgeoned to death in the petroglyph alcove—and Jesse and Web are the primary suspects.

Zero Hour

Post-apocalyptic quest for freedom

Zero Hour, Cover Art by PL NunnI can't believe it -- it's finally done! I started writing Zero Hour in 2007 in response to a completely random prompt I generated at Seventh Sanctum live on my Packing Heat podcast. This serialized novel has been the mainstay of my JCP News newsletter since its inception 30 months ago.

I'm leaving the first draft online for readers to enjoy. You can read it here. After edits, I'll release the novel as both an ebook and a paperback, with sexy cover art by PL Nunn.

About the writing process

Betweentimes

A spicy little romance

When Jon's neighbor Owen invites him to the Jumping Bean Burrito Bar, of course he accepts. True, the restaurant is about as Mexican as Alan Thicke, the margaritas are sugary enough to send you into a diabetic coma, and the salsa tastes like it came out of a can.

But Owen will be there—that's all that matters.

And then the date turns spicier than Jon could have ever anticipated.

Betweentimes is available now at JCP Books!

Hemorvore: a vampire thriller by Jordan Castillo PriceHemovore

Can art imitate death? Oh no, girlfriend. Don't even go there.

Ten years ago, the Human Hemovore Virus blazed through the world, and left the few victims who survived unable to eat, allergic to sunlight and craving the taste of blood .

Mark Hansen used to think V-positives were incredibly sexy with their pale, flawless skin and taut, lean bodies. Not anymore. Not since he's been stuck procuring under-the-counter feline blood for his control-freak boss, Jonathan Varga. Why cat blood? Mark has never dared to ask.

It's not as if he's usually at a loss for words. He can dish an insult and follow it with a snap as quick as you can say "Miss Thang". But one look at Jonathan's black-as-sin gypsy eyes, and Mark's objections drain away.

So he endures their strange, endless routine: Jonathan hiding in his studio, painting solid black canvases. Mark hurling insults as he buffs the office to a shine with antiviral wipes and maps out the mysterious "routes" he's required to drive.

Then a blurb in Art in America unleashes a chain of events neither of them saw coming. As secrets of Jonathan's past come to light, it becomes clear all his precautions weren't nearly enough.
